Master Potter Jim Reinert joins the pre-festival shopping and silent auction
The Blount Partnership, in conjunction with the Maryville Downtown Association, are proud to present the first-ever Smoky Mountain Pottery Festival Exclusive Artist and Patron party, Friday, June 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce office, 201 S. Washington St. in Maryville.

This special evening reception geared toward pottery fans with artists and patrons, features master potter Jim Reinert along with pre-festival shopping and a silent auction. The Smoky Mountain Pottery Festival is set for Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Townsend Visitors Center, 7906 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy.
There will be 28 booths of exceptional, talented master potters as well as demonstrations and educational programs which are funded by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission.
In addition, Joe Frank McKee carries out Raku firings, Hugh Bailey displays his fanciful creations and Carol Ware instructs in the children’s tent.
